PSG’s Neymar suffered an ankle injury in the win over Saint-Etienne
Paris Saint-Germain winger Neymar was stretchered with an ankle injury on Sunday during his side’s 3-1 win Sanctuary of Etienne.

Neymar took to Instagram after the game and promised to come back stronger from a potentially lingering injury.
“Unfortunately, these setbacks are part of an athlete’s life,” he said on Instagram.
“Now you have to hold your head high and move on. I’ll come back better and stronger.”

PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino said the extent of the injury was not yet known, and said the club would have more information in the coming days.
“There’s nothing to say at the moment,” he told a post-match press conference.
“He’s in pain because he sprained his ankle. Tomorrow he’s going to take the exam and we’ll know a little bit more about his injury.”
Sunday’s results extended PSG’s lead in the Ligue 1 table to 12 points.
