R&B Singer Ari Lennox Harassed During Interview. . . CLOCK!!
R&B superstar Ari Lennox is currently recuperating at home, after being injured in an interview with a South African journalist – which MTO News learned, turned ugly.
The interview given by Mac G, a popular South African podcaster, started off pretty well. But after a few warm-up questions, Mac G overtook the R&B singer.
The podcaster asked Ari, “Is someone flirting with you right now?” Ari was immediately startled by the disrespectful question – but try to stay calm and give the interviewer another chance to be professional, commented MTO News.
Then, after a few minutes, he got even more outrageous. He tells Ari that he will teach her how to say “I love you” in Mac G’s native Tshivenda. But in reality, he made her say “Mac GI wants to speak to you in an African language.”
Tshivenda is a Bantu language and the official language of South Africa. It is mainly spoken by the Venda people of the northern Limpopo province of South Africa, as well as by some Lemba people in Zimbabwe. The Venda language is related to the Kalanga language, spoken in Zimbabwe and Botswana.

Unsurprisingly, the singer was devastated by the experience and told fans she won’t be doing any more interviews – EVER.
