‘Red Notice’ is currently Netflix’s most watched series of all time
His latest movie, “Red Notice,” is currently the most watched series in Netflix history, according to the streaming giant’s statistics.
As reported by Netflix, “Red Announcement” brought in 328.8 million hours of viewing, topping the previous record held by Sandra Bullock’s “Bird Box” in 2018 with 282 million hours of viewing.
Currently, 50% of all Netflix subscribers worldwide have seen “Red Notice”.
The film surpassed the previous record held in just 18 days, as opposed to “Bird Box” which took 4 weeks.
Movie, which stars Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, is produced by Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions and debuted on the streaming site earlier this month. It remains in the top 10 movies on the platform in 94 countries, according to Netflix.
“Red Notice” tells the story of an FBI profiler played by Johnson, who must team up with the world’s greatest art thief. [Reynolds] in a daring heist to capture the most wanted criminal played by Gadot.
The film was also released in theaters last weekend.
