Refined feature allows Ethereum tips alongside Bitcoin on Twitter a day after Jack Dorsey resigns

The day after Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey stepped down, prominent tech blogger Jane Machun Wong found a way to add Ethereum to Twitter’s Tip Jar feature that’s currently rolling out. This development is interesting because Dorsey, a big Bitcoin supporter, has repeatedly refused to invest in Ethereum.

Sharing a screenshot of the tweaked feature, Wong said she seems to have worked her “magic” to enable the feature. Ethereum, is the second most valuable cryptocurrency in the world after Bitcoin.

She even added a wallet address for people to tip.

Wong’s cutting-edge tech skills excite crypto enthusiasts with some saying Dorsey’s departure could be the start of a pro-Ethereum approach at the company.

While the tweak is not currently expected to be visible or available to everyone, advanced engineers can follow in Wong’s footsteps to add Ethereum tips to the mix. Tip jar their own features.

Currently, Twitter is looking into the matter and will respond to it later, The report by Decrypt said.

Twitter has been taking steps to promote cryptocurrency adoption through a platform used by millions of people worldwide.

It recently announced the addition of a new tab to allow people to recommend token is not replaceable (NFT) holdings on the platform.

Fifteen years after founding Twitter, Dorsey ran for his CEO seat on November 29.
