We could spend most of our lives learning the difference between good and bad, but when it comes to the 340-horsepower engine Cayenne Coupé, reviewed separately, and this 541-horsepower Cayenne Coupe Turbo, the difference is between good and great. The Cayenne Coupe Turbo rips through the atmosphere thanks to a 541-horsepower twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8 that produces 567 pound-feet of torque. The Cayenne Coupe Turbo S E-Hybrid uses that engine plus a 134-horsepower electric motor to increase total output to 670 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque. Porsche’s fast-acting eight-speed automatic transmission with a manual shift handle shifts gears for both Cayenne Turbo powertrains using standard 21-inch wheels with a staggered setup, i.e. rear wheel and tire wider than the front wheel. Like the Cayenne Turbo square SUV, the Coupe’s handling is precise and nimble, while delivering a smooth ride. When we first sampled Cayenne Turbo Coupé, we compared its handling to that of a full-size sports sedan. Driving enthusiasts will appreciate its eager and sporty nature.
Towing capacity and tonnage
The Cayenne Turbo has plenty of towing capacity, with a maximum towing capacity of 7,716 pounds.
Real-world fuel economy and MPGe
The Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid is the most economical of the two, achieving a combined city and highway rating of 18 MPGe. It also has an all-electric range of 12 miles. The petrol-only Cayenne Coupe Turbo achieves fuel economy estimates of 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway by the EPA. Although the number of highways is unimpressive, plug-in hybrids are the most eco-friendly option for those living in urban areas. Furniture, amenities and merchandise
Basically, Porsche provides a blank canvas inside the Cayenne Turbo Coupe for customers to customize. Everything from interior trim to seat belt colors to surface materials can be individually selected. The driver is faced with a stylish instrument cluster with an analog tachometer flanked by two 7.0-inch screens displaying selectable information. In addition to traditional options like heated and ventilated front and rear seats, the Cayenne offers desirable upgrades, including more supportive seats, massaging front seats, four-zone climate control, and more. competitor Audi Q7 and VolvoXC90 there are three rows, but Porsche has only two. The infotainment system uses a standard 12.3-inch touch screen mounted in the center of the dashboard. Its slick interface includes a configurable main menu and a variety of personalized settings. While the system was responsive and easy to operate during our testing, the screen was still blurry. A rotary controller will help reduce distractions while driving. Every Cayenne comes with Porsche Connect Plus, which includes a Wi-Fi hotspot as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An upgraded sound system kit includes a 14-speaker Bose device or a much more expensive Burmester setup that pumps 1455 watts through 21 speakers. An available rear-seat entertainment system attaches two 10.0-inch screens to the back of the front seat headrests.
Safety features and driver assistance
Cayenne Turbo Coupe is available with a wide range driver assistance technology help keep occupants safe. All models have forward collision warning and parking sensors at both ends.
