Sarah Ferguson shares an update on Queen Elizabeth’s Corgis

The dog and Muick, now a bonded couple, brought millions to tears on September 19 when footage was broadcast of them being carried outside to await the arrival of the Queen’s coffin at Windsor, her final resting place, following a state funeral. Andrew was also photographed stroking the baby mice.

Two days earlier, her grandson Prince Williamwho is now second in line to the British throne, told an anxious fan queuing to see his grandmother’s coffin lying in its original state at the Palace of Westminster in London that he had recently seen Muick and Sandy and that dogs “will be well taken care of.”

The Prince of Wales added, “They are two very friendly corgis so they have a good home. They will be very well looked after, I’m sure spoiled.”

In addition to Muick and Sandy, the Queen is also survived by a cocker spaniel, Lissy. Multiple reports have said that it is believed that the pet, who won the 2022 Kennel Club Cocker Spaniel Championship, is now living with his trainer.

In addition, the Queen takes care of a dorgi named Candy for 18 years before her death. After her death, many outlets reported that the dog had died this past summer. The royal family has not yet commented on the reports.

Check out the photos the Queen has taken with her many dogs over the years:
