Meta, the owner of Facebook, said it had removed a large number of accounts and groups that posted pictures and videos of flirting, following an investigation by BBC News.
The BBC discovered thousands of users openly shared sexually explicit material of women and girls taken in public without their consent. A man who posted a sneaky video of a schoolgirl in New York is currently under police investigation.
