Some Destiny 2 Exotics Will Get Remake For Season 18 On August 23
With Bungie showcase comingpart 18 and an original is reproduced Life assault less than two weeks, Fate 2 Fans have a lot to be excited about in August. But before revealing, Bungie has revealed some new information on how certain weapons and Exotics will change later this month.
First, Bungie revealed some minor changes to the weapon prototypes. Scout rifles are getting an overall damage boost, as well as heavy grenade launchers. Other weapons, like light bows and high-impact automatic rifles, are also being tweaked. Glaives are getting a buff to their melee, allowing their attacks to trigger three Exotics: ACD/0 Feedback Fence, Karnstein Armlets, and Necrotic Grip.
Bungie will also be making some changes to existing perks when season 18 begins on August 23. Both the Gambit and Iron Banner perks are being completely reworked, and the Dares of Eternity weapon (ones based on other Bungie games, like Halo) will get their own Origin trait. The Ambitious Assassin is getting a significant boost to its overflow (up to 150%) to keep up with the Overflow perk. Wellspring will also have the hidden cooldown removed, so it will provide mana when multi-skill.
The biggest update in the Bungie blog is Exotics. Many older weapons will be resistant to Champion in season 18, and some Exotics will receive brand new effects.
Here are the Exotics that received the anti-Champion update:
- Le Monarque – Poison Arrow Overload
- Thunderlord – Overload
- Malfeasance – Can’t stop explosions
- Wish-Ender – Anti-Barrier
Wish-Ender is also one of the Exotics that get a significant boost, as it will hit most enemies three times instead of twice and deal 10% more damage to Champions, staples, and minibosses.
Dead Man’s Tale’s Cranial Spike perk will no longer deal additional damage to the player (the summoner spell remains against PvE enemies), and will instead increase reload, aim assist, and range per stack. At max Cranial Spike stacks, the Catalyst will cause the weapon’s hip firing RPM to skyrocket to 180.
Collective Obligation, the Exotic Void pulse rifle from the Oath of Disciple raid raid, will be much easier to use in Season 18. The Void Leech timer will be five seconds longer during PvE operations, with no timeout. cooldown and easier to activate than many players.
Finally, Bungie announced that fans will learn about Arc 3.0 – the final update to the old subclasses – before Life 2 introduced on August 23. Players will likely hear more about it next week.
