Source – Dallas Cowboys Coach Mike McCarthy Tests Positive for COVID-19
Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Thursday night’s game against New Orleans Saints, sources said Adam Schefter and Dianna Russini of ESPN.
Cowboys dealing with the COVID outbreak have been knocked down at the beginning of the right settlement Terence Steele, three offensive coaches and two of their three strength coaches for this week’s game.
The Cowboys are conducting daily testing for players, coaches and staff and will continue through Tuesday. The league imposed stricter protocols this week, but the Cowboys adopted it before Thanksgiving. They will have virtual meetings on Sunday and Monday and may continue to do so on Tuesday.
Wide receiver Amari Cooper missed the past two games while on the sub/COVID-19 roster but is expected to return to the building on Monday.
The Cowboys have lost three of their last four games and played the next three on the road.
