Star Wars Jedi: SurvivorThe highly anticipated sequel of 2019 Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to be was finally revealed today via a new Star Wars Celebration trailer. It will be released in 2023 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
While we know a sequel is in the works, this is the first time EA and Lucasfilm have confirmed the rumored name, was leaked earlier this year.
In the short intro (above) the title announcement and the game’s 2023 release window we see Cal speaking to what appears to be a Pau’an the man also appears to be holding Kestis’ lamp sword from the previous game in a carrying case. We also see the Jedi and his adorable droid looking at a bacta tank containing someone, but the trailer doesn’t say who. Make your guess now!
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the sequel to Respawn’s 2019 third-person action adventure Star Wars game, Command failed. Like that game, this new sequel stars Cal Kestis, a former Jedi on the run from the Empire along with a ragtag group of misfits and pagans. You know, classic Star Wars things.
The newly announced sequel is once again led by former God of War manager Stig Asmussen and a press release sent out by EA confirmed the game will be a PS5/Xbox Series X/S-only version. Sorry, PS4 and Xbox One owners.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor 5 years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Orders. Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he begins to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy.
Along with his trusty companion BD-1, Cal will meet and ally with a host of unique and interesting characters on his journey. Jedi: Survivor will expand the series’ dynamic combat in new and innovative ways. To survive, Cal must learn new skills and develop his connection to the Force. ”
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released sometime next year for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. This is just one of many upcoming Star Wars games scheduled for release over the next few years.
