I know Mario games have involved the beach before, but those times—Mario Sunshine special – is about work, or duties, and duties are work. This series of illustrations by Léo Chérel instead of imagining what it would be like if brothers (and friends) could all do it right, well deserved vacation.
You know how in Japanese games like Persona the crew always managed to sneak in on a mid-adventure vacation, everyone put on their swimsuits, go to the beach and have some fun? Well, imagine that, just with Bowser looking so worried about the brine.
