Tears of the Kingdom Easiest new infinite item glitch

Another day, another way to copy some of the rarest items IN The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. But wait, there’s more good news. This latest infinite item mining is even faster and easier than the others. Give me a minute of your time and I’ll give you all the diamonds you can bring.

Update 5/25/2023 21:53 ET: Nintendo released patch 1.1.2 because Kingdom Tears tonight and among other fixes it fixed some duplicate glitches including this one. If you’re offline and haven’t downloaded the update, you can still copy items to your heart’s content, or just stock up before diving in. “Several issues have been resolved to improve the gameplay experience,” reads the patch notes. XE.

The original story follows.

latest method was shared on Kingdom Tears annex last weekend (Thank Eurogamer) and revolves around paragliding. You just need to get some air and then keep messing around with the inventory screen as copies of all your precious ingredients fall to the ground below you. Unlike the previous bow glitch, which requires very precise timing, this one will allow you to be as sloppy as you want. I tried it this morning and got a 100% success rate. Here are the steps:

Make sure the item you want to copy is at the bottom of your inventory screen

  1. Climb something
  2. Jump down and pull out your roller coaster
  3. Press start to open backup menu item
  4. Choose an item you have only one of
  5. Then select the one in the last position you want to copy
  6. Press start twice
  7. Rinse and repeat until you hit the ground

The cool thing about this infinite item glitch version is that you no worries about how quickly you hit the start button. As long as you do it while the Link is still in the air, it will count. And the result is that you can actually do this trick multiple times on each trip. You can also select multiple items that you are copying, allowing you to create multiple items at once.

Updated on May 23, 2023 10:01 a.m. ET: Turns out there’s now an easier way to do this trick. Just start paragliding, select any item from your materials list, hold as much as you can, then press Y and B at the same time. The menu will sort and close simultaneously, removing duplicates while your inventory remains unchanged. No need to have items in the last tile or mess around with the second.

And if you’re really feeling adventurous, you can even do it while in mid-air, draw your shield to surf (if you don’t have a paraglider or a place where you can climb).

The only thing to be aware of is that the items will fall to the ground. Do it when you are too high and it can be difficult to find where they fall to the ground. And if you are doing it with bombs or other fragile items, they will break/explode. “Before someone tries to warn: that doesn’t work with bomb flowers, I just blew myself up with about 20 bombs!” Written a player on the subreddit.

So far, none of the item bugs players have discovered so far have been patched by Nintendo from the game, but that may not last long. The Breath of the Wild next part received the first small update after the launch last weekand will likely get another one soon. So get surfing.
