Here we bring you a quick and delicious vegetarian matar puff recipe that you will love to indulge in! Since it’s winter, we thought it would be best to take some freshly produced peas and cook something unique with them. These vegan matar puffs have a flaky texture on the outside and a complete masaledar flavor on the inside. The best part of this recipe is that you don’t need an oven to bake these puffs!

When we were looking for some quick and delicious recipes, we stumbled upon this recipe by a food vlogger with Youtube channel “Cook with Parul.” Here, she first kneaded the dough for puffs and layered them to create a flaky texture. Then she added the matar filling and finished the dish! Sounds easy to do, doesn’t it? Once brewed, pair this with your evening tea or any steeped to enjoy. Here’s How to Make Veg Matar Puffs | Veg Matar Puffs Recipe

Place all-purpose flour and flour in a bowl. Then add salt, ajwain, oil and slowly add water to form a paste. Cover it with a wet cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes. Then, in the blender, add the green beans and potatoes and make a coarse mixture. Next, heat a pan and add some oil, jeera, and finely chopped onion. Lightly roast them. Now add the green chili, garlic and ginger. Add the green bean mixture. Add a little water and let it cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes. Next, add spices like coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, chaat masala and salt according to taste. Combine until all flavors blend.

Now, in a bowl, combine the cornstarch and buttermilk. Make a ball from the dough and spread the cornstarch mixture over the flat shape. Repeat the process with the entire dough block and stack them together. Now roll it up again, cut and shape the roti so the layers are visible. Put the prepared cake filling, cover and deep fry in oil! Once done, serve and enjoy!
