Turkish Army receives new fighting vehicles
The Turkish military on Thursday received the first five new ZMA-15 Zırhlı armored infantry fighting vehicles.
The ZMA-15 Zırhlı is an armored combat vehicle developed by a partnership between the state-controlled military electronics company Aselsan of Turkey and the armored vehicle manufacturer FNSS. It is an upgraded version of the ACV-15 armored vehicle of the Turkish manufacturer FNSS.
The Zırhlı was designed as a versatile armored vehicle, combining firepower and mobility, and armor to support infantry in attack.

In the first phase of the upgrade program, Aselsan will modernize 133 vehicles, extend their lifespan and survivability, and equip 30 mm automatic turrets.
Other upgrades on the ZMA-15 include an automatic target tracking system, a laser warning system, a close-range monitoring system, a modern cruise system, anti-mine seats, and increased bullet protection. and anti-mine.
