Two killed after head on collision with motorcycle in Oka, Que. – Montreal
Two people died after a head-on collision between a car and a motorbike in Oka, Que.
Prefectural police said the accident happened around 2:45 p.m. Friday when a motorcyclist traveling west on 344 Street skidded a bend and found himself in the oncoming lane.
A vehicle traveling east on the highway, also known as Chemin d’Oka, collided with the bicycle.
The 63-year-old male motorbike taxi driver and the 50-year-old female passenger were taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died.
Spokesperson of the Provincial Police Sgt. Catherine Bernard said passengers in the car were also taken to the hospital, while the driver had no obvious injuries.
An investigator was at the scene Friday.
