Tyson Fury shoots back Dereck Chisora for choosing Joshua to hit him
Via Jack Tiernan: A chaotic-looking Tyson Fury shot back at Dereck ‘War’ Chisora on Friday in response to his selection of Anthony Joshua to “Blast him” when the time came for the two to fight in 2022 or later.
Chisora’s prediction for former IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) victory over WBC belt holder Fury is self-evident., without actually intending to ruffle the thin-skinned ‘King of Gypsy’.
Dereck was ‘speaking as if it were’ with his prediction of a future knockout Joshua victory over Fury.
Chisora doesn’t have a dog in this hunt and it doesn’t seem like he cares who wins, but he still feels that Joshua will overwhelm Fury in their fight as long as he doesn’t make the mistake of starting slow like he did with Oleksandr Usyk in September last year.
Fury needs to forget about Joshua for a second and focus instead on what he will do with his WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte. The World Boxing Council has ordered the Fury vs. Whyte.
Fury and his supporters in the Top Rated need to decide if they will obey WBC’s orders or take the belt and go with Ring Magazine & his linear heavyweight titles to defend first Andy Ruiz Jr. or Robert Helenius next March 26.
Fury says Joshua will NEVER blow him up
“This is a message for Dereck Chisora. I just saw your message where you said you think AJ will let me down. Never in a million years,”Tyson Fury said on Twitter Friday in response to ‘War’Chisora predicting Joshua will be too strong for Fury.
“If the greatest puncher in history [Deontay Wilder] can’t beat me and if Wladimir Klitschko can’t beat me, an old bodybuilder can’t beat me, my friend,” Fury said.
Joshua can knock Fury down, especially now after the punishment he received in his final fight with Deontay Wilder last October.
Chisora’s prediction about Joshua stopping Fury
“I will go with AJ. AJ’s punch power is unbelievable. If AJ fights Fury, he has to go head-to-head with him, blow him up. He can’t box him. If he boxed with him, he would lose,” Chisora told Talksport, choose Joshua to defeat Fury.
Wilder knocks out TWICE’s Fury in the fourth second and knocks him out in about eleven seconds in the second knocking him down. Many boxing fans believe that Fury has been counted for long, which makes it possible for him to get up in time without the fight being stopped.
If Joshua beats Fury the way Wilder did, he’ll get the job done if he comes back in time. We don’t know if Fury’s punch resistance is permanently affected with the punch he knocked out against ‘Bronze Bomber’ Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) on October 9.

We see that all the time with fighters. They took terrible blows, and their ability to take a punch later was never the same. Will that be Fury’s fate? It may be.
If Fury’s punch resistance has worn off since his trio fight with Deontay 6’7 ″, it could be over for him. He’s not going to get past Joshua. Heck, Fury may not make it through the fight of Whyte, Andy Ruiz Jr. or Robert Helenius.
Whoever Fury has to face next, they’ll check his chin repeatedly with high-powered shots, and if he’s not the steel-faced ‘King of Gypsy’ in the process In the past, he’ll stick his nose in the frame as he begins to take power hits from his next enemy.
Joshua won’t fight Usyk anymore, says Fury
“So Del [Chisora]. He [Joshua] no bottle to fight Usyk again. Usyk will smack him the next time he deserves,” Fury said as he predicted AJ would skip the April rematch against Oleksandr.
“He can beat him by points or knock him out, but there’s only one man like me on these shores, and he’s called the ‘King of Gypsy’ AKA Tyson Fury,” Fury said. .
Joshua WILL have a chance of a rematch with Usyk because that’s all he talks about night and day. Joshua wants to try and avenge his loss to Usyk from last September, even if it costs him his career.
Chisora predicts Joshua to win Usyk
“I think AJ will win the second game. I asked him what he was going to do, he said, ‘You’ll see,’ Chisora said of him picking Joshua to win the rematch against Usyk.
Joshua can win the rematch with Usyk, as long as he targets his body and doesn’t make the mistake of trying to beat him like last time.
Joshua will need to start fast and not lose his nerve after being stung by Usyk’s precise left hand.
Usyk looked to have knocked Joshua down in the second round after catching him with a powerful left-hand hit to the head, which resulted in AJ becoming gunnery for the rest of the round.
