The funding, which brings UK military support and broader regional operations since the outbreak of war to £2.3 billion, will herald a new phase in support. of the international community, allowing Ukraine to go beyond its brave defense against Russia’s illegal aggression and conduct offensive operations.
The next phase of military support, covered by this additional funding, will include more sophisticated air defense systems, innovative new unmanned aerial vehicles and electronic warfare equipment. .
It comes after the UK launched a major training campaign for Ukrainian forces, with the capacity to train up to 10,000 troops.
The Defense Secretary recently visited some of the first Ukrainian troops to join the ongoing program at locations across the UK’s North West, South West and South East.
