Ukrainian Army to receive Canadian-built armoured vehicles
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are expected to receive new armored vehicles from Canada, according to The National Post.
On April 11, The National Post report Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has authorized the sending of $500 million in weapons, including armored personnel carriers, to help Ukrainian forces in Russia’s unprovoked attack.
“Ottawa is understood to be in the final stages of appointing an armored carrier supplier to send to Ukraine, with Roshel based in Mississauga, Ont. expected to win the initial contract with its Senator APC armored vehicle,” the report said.
