The independent record label + creative agency Big.Ass.Kids (BAK) has signed an exclusive joint venture and global distribution agreement with ADA Worldwide, Warner Music Grouplabel and artist services group.
Founded by industry veteran le’Roy Benros in 2021, Big.Ass.Kids’ first project through ADA will be the SEE YOU NEXT YEARin partnership with Complex Network’s Pigeons & Planes music site.
SEE YOU NEXT YEAR will be an annual emerging artists platform and multi-tiered campaign.
The campaign will be supported by an exclusive ten-song compilation album, curated by multi-Grammy Award-winning producer and engineer, BAK said. Mike Dean.
BAK first reached an agreement with Complex Networks’ Pigeons & Planes in 2021, along with FAE Grp, it said.
In 2012, Benros first partnered with Sarah Stennett, CEO & Founder of FAE Grp, when the company was formerly known as Turn First for a JV in Benros then the Noizy Cricket brand!!, BAK said
When Turn First became FAE, Benros was appointed Vice President of A&R in 2017.
BAK also added Carolyn Ortiz, formerly of Universal Music Groupas CEO of Labels & Brand Partner, and is currently expanding its marketing & business development division.
In other ADA news, the company revealed a new leadership structure in September.
Marcus Siskind joins the company as Head of America, overseeing business development and brand management, while Adriana Sein has been appointed Head of International, focusing on global business. of the company.
ADA also signed a global distribution deal with the producer and Grammy nominated artist Murda Beatz in January 2022.
