Warwick Appointed Ascot . CEO
Alastair Warwick has been appointed chief executive officer of Ascot Racecourse, having previously held the positions of chief executive officer and acting chief executive officer.
Sir Francis Brooke, Her Majesty’s representative to Ascot, said: “I am delighted that Alastair has accepted the position of permanent chief executive officer. “Over the past 15 years, he has acquired the leadership and strategic skills needed for this multifaceted role. He also played a key role in developing an outstanding senior management team.
“Alastair has extensive knowledge of Ascot and the racing industry. In recent years, in addition to being primarily responsible for the racecourse operations, Alastair has also led important commercial relationships such as with the Hong Kong Jockey Club and the successful development of World Pool. In recent months, he has also been heavily involved in the broader media and betting rights negotiations, including the successful execution of ITV’s terrestrial contract extension. Dad last week.”
