The Bloober dev team has released a new 11-minute trailer showcasing a huge chunk of the Layers of Fear game.
Last year, studio reveals Layers of Fears, a “psychological horror chronicle that builds on the foundations of the original Layers of Fear, Layers of Fear: Inheritance, and Layers of Fear 2.” Layers of Fears is essentially an Unreal Engine 5 collection of the Bloober Team’s Layers of Fear series, fused with new elements that tie the entire story together.
The Bloober team revealed last month that Layers of Fears is now called Layers of Fear and will release sometime this June. You can now see the game in action in the new Layers of Fear gameplay trailer below:
“Layer of Fear (2023) is a tribute to our fans,” the studio wrote in a press release. “Games have shaped the way we strive to create the best horror experiences possible, and we hope that our community will enjoy what we consider to be the pinnacle of the series. ri.”
The Bloober team says that Layers of Fear features the “original Layers of Fear, Layers of Fear 2, as well as all the DLC (including a new chapter called ‘The Final Note’ that offers a different perspective on the original game’s plot.” first)” and that the game “will also introduce the untold story of The Writer, a heartbreaking story that ties each entry in the series together.”
Layers of Fear will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC sometime this June.
