This conversation also exists in plus-size brands, including Torrid which over the past four months has begun to expand in-store size 6 products (previously, the brand offered size 00–6 online, which equates to size 10–30 and size 00) -5 at the store). In an emailed response to Refinery29, the brand said it has spent the holiday season analyzing its web data to see what size shoppers live in. They then use that information to determine which stores will send more size 5 garments, and which will receive size 6 items.
