Why the great British baking show doesn’t have an all-star season
Great British Baking Show: All stars won’t happen anytime soon.
Continuing the 13th season of the series, judge Prue Leith explaining why she and PaulHollywood didn’t rally the show’s winners to claim the final crown (or, in their case, pie plate).
“If you won grill offyour life will change,” she told E! News exclusively. “You become a very famous baker, or you find yourself in the bakery business, or you go on television as a presenter. process, or you’re writing a new cookbook, and you have a reputation you don’t want to hurt.”
As a result, Prue says she thinks the series will “struggle” to attract previous winners, even though they’ve honestly “never tried.”
“They feel that it’s the pinnacle of their career so far,” she added. “Do you want to risk losing it?”
Well, we definitely enjoyed watching it.
