Trends on SGX Nifty suggest a slightly higher chance of opening the domestic market.
New Delhi: Domestic stock indexes are expected to trade flat on Friday, based on signals from global markets. Asian stock markets and the US dollar struggled to gain traction after a rushed central bank meeting highlighted the growing threat posed by a spike in global inflation, while concerns over the Covid-19’s omicron variant adds to the cautious mood. Trends on SGX Nifty suggest a slightly higher chance of a market opening at home. Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange also known as SGX Nifty Futures rose 0.03% or 4.80 points to 17,277.80.
The BSE Sensex benchmark closed at 113.11 points or 0.20% higher at 57,901.14 on Thursday; while the broader NSE Nifty inched up 27 points or 0.16% to hit 17,248.40.

Have a Bank: The Private Lending Board will meet on December 21 to consider whether to issue equity shares, depository receipts or other means. Yes Bank said that the approval of shareholders is valid until February 28, 2022.
Indiabulls Housing Finance: The founding firms sold about half of their shares in the shadow lending company to investors led by Blackstone Group Inc. and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority led. Sameer Gehlaut, the founder of Indiabulls Housing, and his companies sold an 11.9% stake in the company, reducing their ownership to 9.8%. Mr. Gehlaut will step down from the lender’s board at the end of the financial year ending March 31.
NTPC: The company said it would raise Rs 1,175 crore on December 20 through the issuance of unsecured bonds (NCDs) on a private placement basis. The proceeds will be used to finance capital expenditures, refinance existing loans and other general corporate purposes.
RateGain travel technology: The company will launch its stock exchange today. The Initial Public Offering (IPO) was open for registration during December 7-9, with the price range set at Rs 405-425 per share for an increase of 1,335.74 Rs crore. The issue has received excellent feedback and has been registered 17.41 times.
IIFL Asset Management: Hamblin Watsa Investment Counsel Limited A/C – HWIC Asia Fund Class A Shares exited IIFL Wealth by selling 30,51,790 equity shares in the company for Rs 1,427.83/share on NSE and 100,000 shares for Rs 1,429.34/CP on BSE.
