Does anyone else feel like their brain is in post-Covid mode? I’m not sure if that’s a legitimate term, but I’ve been feeling less motivated lately and I’m pretty sure a weekend getaway (to recharge) would help.
All I had to do was plan a trip, but a part of my brain was like… “are we doing things like this now?”. I’m not much of a travel person to begin with, but during the lockdown (and Covid spikes), I’ve had a little also was at home.
I’ve also been working from home for about a year, and I still struggle with it from time to time. So if you feel the same way, you’re not alone. I re-read this blog post another day, and it makes me feel better.
Either way, I’m totally devoted to you right now, just before sharing some of my recent favorites. Laugh out loud.
1. My friend Sarah Posted about a budget-friendly ice diffuser the day before and i bought it right away. It’s a dupe of Vitruvi . diffuserand the quality is A+.
2. If you watched the latest episode of Strange things and still feeling scared, raise your hand.
3. The cleaning mascara which I am passionate about (and opposed to) time and time again.
4. I did it for Emma’s peanut butter cookies last week. Why did I never think of using those peanut butter cups in between them?!
5. I desperately needed an early yard sale, and to make things easier, I bought this set for under $5.
6. I love anything with chrysanthemums on it — especially this set of socks. So cute.
7. You can barely see my collection in the opening photo, but I’ve been collecting old matchbox books from local businesses (Springfield, MO) for about a year. It is a pleasure.
i think this is awesome one of the classics on Etsy the other day. I wish I could stay there!
8. I’ve Got My Eyes On These face planter for a while, and now they are on big discount.
9. Unique face oil I will buy from now on. It’s a blend of 16 different oils, and it works like a dream!
10. If you like microwave popcorn, but not love butter type, this popcorn (made with avocado oil) is very good. Lately, it’s become a nightly ritual for me.
