Ford ended well 2022 Ford Ranger Raptor and we had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the car at Ford’s top secret design center in Melbourne.

But, what is the brand new thing Ford Ranger Raptor like in person? We’ve shot a quick video below that will give you a better idea of what to expect when it finally goes on sale later this year.
What you’ll immediately notice is the large ‘FORD’ lettering along the grille. It’s hard to mistake this for anything else, but the large text reinforces the fact that it’s the all-new Ranger Raptor.
Flared wheel arches and wider hips were the main highlights of the previous generation Ranger Raptor – this new one is no different. It’s all about the muscular flares and cooling function on the bonnet and front side panels.
Ford has added a set of two rated rebound points at the front and rear, along with thicker underbody protection at the front of the vehicle. The BFGoodrich KO2 tires will look familiar as they are carried over from the previous generation Ranger Raptor.
The uterus has a real presence about it in the person. I also like the signature headlight and taillight design. Headlight feature LED matrix technology, while the taillights are fully LED.
Arguably the most interesting part is under the bonnet. The two-liter diesel engine has been replaced by a twin-turbo V6 petrol engine with all-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
It produces just under 300kW of power and less than 600Nm of torque, meaning it should halve the 0-100km/h time of the previous generation Ranger Raptor.
The interior looks similar to the all-new Ford Ranger with its large vertical 12-inch screen, but in the Raptor trim there are red accents on the seats, air vents and stitching.
