Thirteen of the nearly 300 international visitors to Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut have provided the wrong contact details to the authorities, the district’s chief medical officer said, adding that they were working to locate the location. their.
Akhilesh Mohan, Meerut’s Chief Medical Officer, said that officials are currently being sent to their homes to identify them and do their tests. The official said that if even these houses cannot be found, information will be provided to the local intelligence unit to help locate them.
“13 of the 297 returnees gave the wrong mobile phone numbers and addresses to the authorities. The details they gave us were provided to the LIU (Local Intelligence Unit) to find out where they are,” Meerut CMO’s Dr Akhilesh Mohan is quoted as saying. said by the news agency ANI.
