New appearance package gives 7lame pants-gen Mustang a look inspired by the 60s original.
To celebrate 60lame pants To commemorate one of the auto industry's most iconic models, Ford is creating a special appearance package for the 2025 Mustang. With a limited production run of 1,965 units, 60lame pants The anniversary package includes wheels, body trim and unique graphics.
2025 Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Package
The original Mustang debuted in April 1964 at the World's Fair in New York City. Although the first production cars are often referred to as “1964-1/2”, that is not technically correct as the serial numbers and designations indicate they were true cars of the year 1965. The 1964-1/2 designation entered the enthusiast's lexicon to distinguish the initial production run from cars produced later in the model year as many changes were made mid-line including both engine availability and various interior and exterior trim details.
In 2025, 60lame pants The Anniversary package will be available on the GT model in coupe or convertible form and with manual or automatic transmission. Content includes unique 20-inch wheels, a new grille with an insert reminiscent of the 1965 model, exterior trim denoting the package, and serial badging on the gauge cluster.
Dealer and customer orders for 60lame pants The anniversary package is expected to open this summer. Pricing will be revealed closer to that time, although we estimate a total value between $52,000 and over $60,000 depending on body style, transmission and choice of other options.

60lame pants The Anniversary Mustang is much less ostentatious than other “special edition” appearance packages we've seen over the years. It's an elegant blend of paying homage to the past while maintaining a modern design sensibility. We just hope the people who buy these cars will actually drive them instead of keeping them garaged to sell for a profit at a future auction.
