We test products year-round and handpicked these deals. The discount amounts we show are based on actual street prices at retailers in the past few months. Products that are sold out or no longer discounted as of publishing will be crossed out. We’ll update this guide periodically.

For Apartments and Smaller Living Rooms

It’s not fancy, but this TCL is the best TV for most people (7/10, WIRED Review). It has the same quantum dot technology as the Roku Plus Series TV we also like, but comes with a Google interface. Plus, it’s easier than ever to use Chromecast to share your phone screen. This is the best price we’ve seen.

Hisense’s U7K was already a great value at its regular sale price, and it has hovered around $600 or so, but this sale makes it particularly enticing. With an intuitive Google TV interface and sought-after performance features like class-leading peak brightness, quantum dots for enhanced color volume, and great gaming features, it’s an all-around sweet deal.

Hisense U8K

This is our favorite TV for high-end features. This Hisense (8/10, WIRED Recommends) uses mini-LEDs for its zone-based backlighting, meaning better black levels and contrast, and brighter colors overall. It also has a 120-Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution, which means that whether you’re watching the highly contrasted scenes from the latest Star Wars shows or playing the latest racing game, this can keep up.

This TCL is very comparable to the TCL Q6, except that it adds a faster 120-Hz refresh rate to support the latest game consoles. This is a better buy if you watch a lot of sports or game, because of the smoother way that it displays motion on screen. There is even some software trickery onboard that TCL claims can make it look like up to 240 Hz at lower resolution.

For Cinephiles

Samsung QN900C

Photograph: Samsung

This gorgeous 8K model from Samsung is one of the prettiest TVs we’ve reviewed this year (8/10, WIRED Recommends). Sure, there isn’t much in the way of 8K content, but the magic of this display comes in its brightness and its ability to upscale 4K content to its higher resolution. Colors are shockingly vivid, as is the smoothness of the response time, especially when watching sports with green backdrops or playing video games.

We call this our best TV for gamers for a reason: It has a lightning-fast response time of 9.2 milliseconds, and it has four HDMI 2.1 ports to connect your PC, Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch. Outside of gaming, it works fantastically well as a TV, with perfect black levels, and a great center mount that helps you place it on existing TV stands.

The G3 is LG’s most powerful and most refined OLED TV, providing top-tier brightness, incredible colors and contrast, and a slim design that sits flush with the wall when mounted. As we’re seeing across the TV market for Cyber Monday, this is the lowest price for LG’s flagship OLED all year.

LG really likes their LetterNumber naming scheme, apparently. This sibling to the C3 is giant. Seventy-seven inches is a whopper of a screen, and it retains the high-quality, OLED-powered picture that we’re used to from the other models in this lineup. Just make sure you’ve got room for it before you buy.

Sony A95K

Sony’s A95L is the best TV we’ve ever seen from a performance standpoint, offering superb brightness, deep and naturalistic colors, fantastic contrast, and picture processing that reveals the subtle nuances of your content in stunning detail. This marks the first sale we’ve seen so far this year, making it a great time to go all-in.

Samsung’s QLED series helped rewrite the rules of LED TV performance, offering blazing brightness and vivid colors to go along with impressive contrast and black levels. The QN90C is the latest and greatest, offering plenty of top-line features, including Samsung’s excellent gaming hub for next-gen gaming, and this is the best price we’ve seen all year.

Sony has the best processing in TV land, and its OLED models are always shockingly gorgeous. This one has the same perfect black levels and a Google TV interface that makes it easy to stream any app with credibility. Sony’s upscaling makes older HD (and even non-HD) content look like it was made in the modern era. It’s a literal sight to behold.

Samsung’s mildly pretentiously-named “The Frame” earns its unique title. When not in use, this TV looks like it’s simply a framed piece of art. This 75-inch model is particularly huge, letting you hang a conversation art piece on your wall, so it doesn’t look like you spend all your time rewatching The Office. (Not that we’d judge you)

Samsung’s S90C is a second-tier premium TV that feels more like a flagship, probably because it’s basically last year’s flagship in an updated package. That means you’ll get a premium package at a great price, including excellent brightness, rich colors, and killer contrast from its QD-OLED display, alongside a swell of features like four HDMI 2.1 inputs and VRR gaming at up to 144 Hz.

Samsung’s S95C is easily one of the best screens you can buy this year, with class-leading brightness and color volume, fantastic contrast, and the perfect black levels that make OLED so beloved. This is the lowest we’ve seen it priced all year, and we don’t expect it to get much lower (if at all), so if you’ve been holding out for that sweet videophile upgrade, now’s the time.

Sony is best known these days for its OLED screens, but its LED TVs like the X90L still pack a punch with a mix of excellent picture processing, good brightness, and great local dimming for rich contrast. Like a lot of TVs this time of year, this 65-inch set is at the lowest price we’ve seen it all year.

These new QLED models from Roku look great, especially at such low prices. The quantum dot panel means better colors, and the built-in Roku interface makes it so easy to stream nearly any app under the sun. It even supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, which means the best possible color accuracy for the price.

Streaming Device and Service Deals

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max

Photograph: Best Buy

If you watch a lot of Amazon Prime Video, the Fire TV Stick is the streaming device you need. You can stream from virtually any of the top services, but it’s heavily geared toward the company’s own content. This 4K Max, which was just released at the end of September, is faster and comes with 16 gigabytes of storage versus the older model’s 8. If you want to spend less and still stay in the Amazon ecosystem, the standard 4K Stick is on sale for $25 ($25 off).

Google TV is challenging Roku for the best interface these days. It offers virtually every single streaming channel you could ask for, and the little device even has Google Assistant built in. The HD version of the Chromecast is also on sale for $20, and it’s ideal for anyone with a 1080p TV. If you like watching content from your phone on your screen, Chromecast (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is also just about the easiest way there is to share photos, movies, and music with your TV.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite isn’t the most powerful or robust streaming stick on the market. It is one of the cheapest. This one is perfect if you just need to put a smart TV interface on a spare TV or a monitor in the corner, and don’t want to shell out a ton of cash for something that’s not your main entertainment unit.

We’re big fans of Roku when it comes to streaming devices, and the Roku Ultra packs the best dual-band Wi-Fi of Roku’s devices. It also has an Ethernet cord for wired connections, can stream Dolby Vision, and supports HDR10+ too. There’s a headphone jack, included headphones, and a remote finder you can activate on the TV to make the remote start beeping.

Hulu has become a surprisingly good subscription service, particularly for cord-cutters who want to watch new and classic shows. This deal is available only for new Hulu customers or past users who haven’t been subscribed in the past month. It’s also only for the version with ads, so if you wanted to be free of those, keep that in mind.

The streaming service formerly known as HBO Max normally starts at $10/month (including ads), but if you’ve never signed up—or if you’ve cancelled your plan in the past—you can sign up right now and get the next 6 months for $3/month. That’s effectively four of the next six months for free. Plenty of time to watch Our Flag Means Death seven thousand times.

Projector Deals

Photograph: Samsung

This stylish projector from Samsung offers up to 100-inches of screen real estate as well as cool features like Samsung’s built-in smart interface and gaming hub. It can also go portable with compatible add-on USB-C battery packs (not included) making it a great option for an outdoor movie night.

Having a projector in your home is a surreal, but incredibly worthwhile experience if you’re really into movies. This 4K HDR projector from BenQ puts out 3,200 lumens, which is bright enough to be visible even in rooms that aren’t totally dark. And the input lag on the projector is low enough that you can play games on it.

This fantastically bright projector is called the HT4550i in the United States, and the W4000i everywhere else in the world. But we promise it’s the exact same project even with such different model numbers. The colors look bright without getting washed out and awesome black levels. It’s usually only just under $3,000, but right now you can grab it for a couple hundred off.
