Constipation or uneven bowel movements is a common gut health problem caused by wrong lifestyle. Not eating enough fiber-rich foods like green vegetables and fruits, not drinking enough water, being inactive, regularly eating fried or spicy foods can all be the culprits causing your intestinal problems. . Dietitian Lovneet Batra shares home remedies that can help relieve constipation in her recent Instagram post.
1. Yogurt + LANDES POWDER
Yogurt contains a strain of friendly bacteria, or probiotics, called Bifidobacterium lactis, which helps regulate the digestive system, while flaxseeds are a rich source of soluble fiber. Soluble fiber dissolves in water, making stools softer and easier to pass.
2. AMLA JUICE
Mixing 30 ml of amla juice with a glass of water in the morning enhances digestion and relieves constipation.
3. Oat bran ONLY
Oat bran is high in soluble and insoluble fiber, which can help relieve constipation and support gut health
4. GHEE + MILK
Ghee is a rich source of butyric acid which improves intestinal metabolism and helps with stool movement. Drinking 1 tablespoon of ghee in a cup of hot milk before bed is an effective way to relieve constipation the next morning.
5. GREEN
Green vegetables like spinach, brussels sprouts, and broccoli are not only rich in fiber but are also a great source of folate, Vitamins C and K. These greens help add volume and weight to the stool, making it easier for stool to pass through the intestines.
6. WATER
Increasing fluid intake can improve constipation, especially when consumed in conjunction with a high-fiber diet.
