In case you’re wondering, Paul Rudd believes in ghosts
Get more than that in a minute.
CNN caught the actor, 52 years old, at “The Afterlife of Ghostbusters” launched in New York earlier this week.
“I’m open to the possibility [of ghosts] sure,” he said.
The film is the third film in the series, originally created by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis.
Ramis passed away in 2014.
“One of the things that I really feel [while filming] How touching was his presence for me and how much I miss him and he should be there for this,” Rudd said of Ramis.
“Ghostbusters Afterlife” was written by Jason Reitman, Aykroyd and Gil Kenan. Reitman also directed the film, paying tribute to his father, Ivan Reitman, who directed the original 1984 film and its 1989 sequel. Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson perform again role in franchising.
“It’s crazy, I didn’t know there would be many [these films]”, Rudd said. But I was a fan of them, certainly as a child. It’s been such a pleasure to be around and meet these guys. “
As for what Rudd looks like as a child, he gave an often self-deprecating answer.
“It’s all done with smoke and mirrors,” Rudd mused. “I am a hologram, I am like the new ABBA concert. “
“Ghostbusters Afterlife” hits theaters on Friday.
