Currynama By Seven Seas adds new Chaats to its menu; Here’s what I tried
Our love for Indian food can never die, and if it was brought to us in a new avatar, that would be even better. Currynama has satisfied our cravings with some mouthwatering desi dishes and now they have expanded their menu with some more delicious items. Brainchild of Seven Seas Kitchens by Dang Brothers, Currynama combines traditional Indian spices and local ingredients with a modern interpretation to create a classic yet unique dining experience. From kebabs to curries, they offer a wide range of Indian specialties to suit your mood and preferences.
Seven Seas’ Currynama introduced some new regional desserts and desserts, and I obviously had to try them out. Sindhi-special Dal Pakwan was exactly what I was expecting. Nutty dal on crispy mini puris, topped with onion, tomato, ginger – it’s a great snack to start my meal off. But the best is yet to come. And it comes in the form of Kolkata Chenna Chaat. The spongy chenna soaked in a flavorful curd mixture is simply irresistible. This is a must try from the menu.
Subz Chapli Kebab – a mixed vegetable fritter is also great in taste. I also tried the Tandoori Malai Broccoli from the old menu; although it is not great but still not a bad option to choose. Dum Ka Murgh is our usual grilled chicken dish that we like as an appetizer. For dessert I had their Rose Kheer and it was perfect with sweet aroma and flavor or rose.
Overall the new chaat menu is worth a try and I will definitely order Kolkata Chenna Chaat again.
Seven Seas’ Currynama recently launched a new cloud kitchen in Gurugram following their existing stores in Greater Kailash, Rohini and Lawrence Road.
