Kareem Abdul-Jabbar tweets birthday message to LeBron James
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James received another birthday greeting after he turned 38 on Friday. This time from the man he’s been chasing on the NBA’s all-time scorers list: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Abdul-Jabbar, Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer and six-time NBA champion, gave LeBron a shout out Saturday morning.

James is 528 points behind Abdul-Jabbar. According to ESPN’s forecastJames will break the record in early February.
King James made another big hit from a points deficit on his birthday. He scored 47 points on Friday night in one win 130-121 via Atlanta Hawks.
Lakers coach Darvin Ham said: said after the game. “But that’s what I expected. Like, it didn’t blow me away. It was just what I expected from him. It was like, ‘Damn it! Keep going.'”
