Air quality in Delhi degrades to ‘Severe’, Gurgaon ‘Very Poor’, Noida ‘Extremely Severe’ today

According to the System for Weather and Air Quality Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the air quality in the national capital today has deteriorated and is classified as ‘severe’.
The Overall Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi stands at 425.
Meanwhile, the air quality of neighboring cities in the NCR region such as Noida and Gurugram remained at ‘severe’ and ‘very poor’ levels, respectively.
The AQI in Noida is 570, while the AQI of Gurugram is 375.
According to government agencies, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 “satisfactory”, 101 and 200 “moderate”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 “very poor”. , 401 and 500 ‘severe’.
Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Thursday announced that more than 34,000 pollution-related complaints have been received through the Green Delhi app to date, of which more than 32,000 have been resolved.
