US truck manufacturer AM General has teamed up with Italy-based Iveco Defense Vehicle (IDV) to team up in the US Army Joint Tactical Truck competition.
As noted by the company, in collaboration with IDV, AM General has officially submitted a Request for Proposal Proposal (RPP) to compete for the US Army’s Joint Tactical Truck Program (CTT), for the purpose of developed a flexible and secure architecture to replace the Heavy and the Medium Fleet of Tactical Wheeled Vehicles (TWV).

The team’s High Mobility Truck Architecture for CTT will be based on a newly launched series of highly modular trucks, specifically designed for military use. In designing this new truck, IDV has benefited from the significant experience the company has gained over the years by constantly responding to the needs of customers in more than 100 countries.
