Amazon's Fallout season 2 release, casting plans, and what we know so far
Fall out, new TV adaptation from Prime Video, ends with a bit of a bang. After a few episodes exploring the Wasteland and the world of Fallout outside of the Fallout games, Fall out Bring it all home with one much lore updates and more than a few element changes.
And a week after its release, Fall out season 2 has been confirmed, with Prime Video posting the news on Twitter – albeit in a fairly limited capacity. Here's everything we know about the potential second season and where the cast of characters stand.

Is Fallout season 2 happening?
The show's first season certainly ended with a lot of teases for a second season, and luckily, we're getting one.
Prime Video announced the new season by release a simple statement about X, formerly known as Twitter: “Fallout will return for season 2.” This was somewhat expected, thanks to reports that the series was was apparently given a tax credit for filming in California.
When will Fallout season 2 release?
If filming for the new season does indeed begin in September, it's entirely possible that the new season will premiere late next year. But based on the number of locations involved in season 1 and how detailed the production was, it's more likely we'll get another spring release in 2026 (at least).
What will Fallout season 2 be about?
Fall outThe plot is certainly set to continue firmly in season 2. Maximus (Aaron Moten) appears to be back in the good graces of The Brotherhood of Steel, even if his faith in the Their fate at this time is very fragile.
Meanwhile, Lucy (Ella Purnell) goes to “meet her makers” with Ghoul (Walton Goggins), and Norm (Moisés Arias) is trapped in Vault 31 after his shocking discovery. But of course, it is Hank (Kyle Maclachlan) has a revelation was the most surprising thing when he went to a very familiar Fallout location…
Will we see any locations from the games in the new season?
Almost certainly. Part 1 ends with a tease for New Vegas, as Hank heads to a post-apocalyptic Sin City. We don't know exactly what's there, or what he hopes to find, but it gives Lots of references to the game and possibly even the birth of Caesar's Legion.
Should I play Fallout while waiting for the next season?
The Fallout games are absolutely worth playing, esp radioactive fallout 3 And Aftermath: New Vegas. Both games seem to have had a huge influence on the show's first season, and with Vegas's appearance in the finale, they're sure to be even more important moving forward.
