American man throws coffee, punches elderly man who made him wait at gas station
A man in Florida, USA, was arrested and is facing assault charges after he got into an altercation with a 76-year-old man at a Shell gas station. One security camera footage about the attack was released by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. In the caption of the clip, police said that the “tempered” man was waiting in line, then threw a coffee cup at the old man in front of him and then left.
Follow Newsweek, the suspect has been identified as Sean Ruel, 39. CCTV surveillance footage shows the victim at the checkout, with the suspect standing in line behind him. Moments later, the suspect is seen seemingly losing his temper as he waits, then he throws his coffee cup at the victim and leaves the gas station.

The video then shows the victim following Mr Ruel outside the store to confront him. The old man was barely uttering a word before the 39-year-old ran over and knocked him down with a punch to the jaw. The blow sent the old man flying and left him sprawled on the ground.
Right before the clip ends, others can be seen coming to the aid old man. A woman can also be seen exiting the gas station and following Mr. Ruel.
Newsweek reported that the day after the incident, Mr. Ruel was arrested and charged with assaulting an elderly person over 65 with a gun. Police Chief Rick Staly said Ruel couldn’t control his anger, so he hit an elderly man and fortunately he was not serious. injure him. Mr Staly added: “We will not tolerate this kind of behavior.
