From the two continents, a pair of pre-Christmas battle cards will be streamed live and exclusive in the US on ESPN+. The international action on ESPN+ continues from Sydney, Australia, into the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 21. Former world champion Andrew “The Monster” Moloney, recently debuted his trilogy against Joshua “El Profesor” Franco, brought his hometown ring back into a 10-round children’s bantamweight match against Froilan Saludar at The Star Event Center in Sydney.
The Moloney-Saludar card will stream starting at 3am ET/12am pacific time. Moloney (21-2, 14 KOs) briefly held the WBA world belt before embarking on a three-way fight with Franco. Moloney lost a pair of unanimous decisions to Franco, with an uncontroversial argument in between. Saludar (32-4-1, 22 KOs), 32-year-old Filipino, has won 4-1 since challenging Sho Kimura for the WBO flyweight world championship in July 2018.
In another action from Australia, light heavyweight veteran Renold Quinlan (13-8, 8 KOs), will face rising prospect Faris Chevalier (12-1, 7 KOs) in a 10-round bout, men’s heavyweight Jackson Murray (2-0.2 KOs) looks set to hit three KOs in the first round in a row with David Tuliloa (2-3, 2 KOs) in a scheduled sixth round and light heavyweight Manuer Matet ( 3-1, 2 KO) managed to extend his win in a row to three over Jye Lane Taylor (3-1, 1 KO) in a sixth round.
