Annie Wersching, The Last of Us Game and 24 Actresses, Dies at 45
Famous actress Annie Wersching has passed away at the age of 45 after a long battle with cancer.
According to the report of Limit lineWersching was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, but has continued her acting career, appearing in both Star Trek: Picard and The Rookie.
Wersching is best known for playing Renee Walker on show 24, as well as as Leslie Dean on Marvel’s Runaways. She’s also known for her stellar performance as Tess Servopoulos in the 2013 PlayStation game The Last of Us.
Neil Druckmann, co-author of The Last of Us, posted on Twitter said: “I just learned that my dear friend, Annie Wersching, has passed away. We have lost an artist and a beautiful person. My heart is broken. Thoughts of loved ones. hers.” He also posted a link to a GoFundMe which was set up for her family.

Wersching is survived by her husband, actor Stephen Full, and her three children: Freddie, Ozzie and Archie. Her husband also released the following statement regarding her sudden passing, “There is a hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it in. She finds magic in the simplest of moments. She doesn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Let’s go find it. It’s everywhere.'”
