Announced as the cleanest state, city, town in India for 2021, the President presents the Award. Here are the winners
New Delhi:
Indore was rated as India’s ‘cleanest city’ for the fifth consecutive year in the central government’s annual cleanliness survey, the results of which were released today.
Second and third places in the ‘cleanest city’ category of the ‘Swachh Survekshan Awards, 2021’ were secured by Surat and Vijayawada respectively.
Varanasi has been rated as the “cleanest Ganga town” in the survey published by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
Chhattisgarh is considered the cleanest state of India.
President Ram Nath Kovind presented the winners today.
