Apple suppliers are in talks to produce the Apple Watch and MacBook for the first time in Vietnam, Nikkei Asia reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
China’s Luxshare Precision Industry and Taiwanese iPhone assembler Foxconn have begun trial production of these two items in northern Vietnam, reports published Wednesday said.
Apple has moved some elements of iPhone production from China to other markets, including India, where it started making iPhone 13 this year.
