Aryan Khan asks Court to amend bail condition ‘Weekly visit to anti-drug office’
Mumbai:
Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, went to Bombay High Court to ask the Court to change the condition of the weekly visit to the anti-narcotics agency’s office as part of the condition. bail in drug case.
Aryan Khan’s application waives the condition that he appear before the South Mumbai office of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) every Friday.
As the investigation has now been transferred to the Delhi NCB’s Special Investigations Team, the condition for him to appear at the Mumbai office may be relaxed, the defense said.
The petition also said that he had to be accompanied by the police every time he went to the NCB headquarters here because there were a lot of media waiting outside.
His lawyers say the application is likely to be heard by the High Court next week.
Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB on 3 October on charges of possession, consumption, trafficking and use of drugs following a raid on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai.
He was released on bail by a high court on October 28, followed by a detailed order that punctuated most of the NCB’s charges and arguments.
The high court also imposed 14 conditions on him. He is required, among other things, to appear before the NCB every Friday, not to leave Mumbai without notifying the agency and not to leave India without special court permission.
