Bad tattoo? Fresh ink shaped like your dog is part of a pet store contest
Every tattoo has a story. Some are good; others may leave a lingering feeling of regret.
Tattoos that make you shiver are the focus of a contest that supermarket company PetSmart launched this month.
Dubbed as “Redo tattoo” contest, PetSmart is offering five winners the chance to replace the tattoos they regret with a portrait of a pet.
The company's website is available unfortunate tattoo collection includes badly drawn stars, the outline of the state of Oklahoma, Bad Bunny's heart symbol and lots of kanji, the Japanese characters that many Americans have carved into their skin.
The company said it has partnered with Alium tattoo studio in Culver City for consultations and to meet the tattoo artists who will turn those unfortunate images into fresh ink for your beloved furry friends.
You don't live in Los Angeles? Nothing. The company said it will also provide the winner with travel and a two-night hotel stay in LA
The contest, open to U.S. residents 18 and older, is part of PetSmart's promotion of the new rewards program. Entries must be received by April 30 and will be judged on creativity, originality and the impact the alternative tattoo has on the person.
