Balenciaga cuts ties with Kanye West amid hateful and controversial comments
Kanye West, now known as Ye, shared a close and longstanding relationship with Balenciaga and creative director Demna Gvasalia. On Friday, however, French fashion label and its parent company, Kering, announced that they have officially severed ties with the rapper following a series of hateful comments, controversial comments and more recently the infamous ‘White Lives Matter t-shirt’ ‘ at Paris Fashion Week.
