Baroline Diaz launches Great Day Records label with Santa Anna and Alamo Records
Baroline Diaz, former Vice President of A&R at Interscope Records, has launched a new record label in partnership with Santa Anna and the newly formed Alamo Records.
Diaz will host a new record label called Great Day Records. Labels will have access to Santa Anna resources and advertising support to help scale its business, according to a joint press release on Monday (January 30).
Great Day says it will specialize in “implementing an artist’s vision to an unparalleled degree by returning to true artist development.”
The studio will also be involved in creating an artist “from the look and feel” and building a core fan base.

Diaz joined Great Day from Interscope, where she was the Vice President of A&R. She is known for managing rising star Babyface Ray and has previously oversaw the careers of DaBaby, Moneybagg Yo, Est Gee, Rob 49, Lil Poppa, etc.
Before joining Interscope in January 2019, she held the role of artist manager at Columbia Profile and Popular music groupOwned Def Jam recordings.

The launch of Great Day comes less than a month after Santa Anna was announced show as a new artist and label services company. Santa Anna is a joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment (SME) and Todd Moscowitz, founder and CEO of Alamo Records.
Alamo Records is also owned by SME after the latter buying majority stake in the airline by June 2021.
Santa Anna’s goal is to support entrepreneurs and artists to “maximize their creative potential and build their businesses.”
Santa Anna is led by Lee L’Heureux. Right after debut, Santa Anna signed a contract distribution agreement with record label and management company LISTEN TO THE KIDS, founded by CEO Conor Ambrose and Interscope owned by Universal Music Group.
