Bhungara Batata is an iconic combo served on the streets of Gujarat. Yellow hollowed-out fritters are known as Bhungara in Gujarat and these deep-fried snacks are dipped in mouthwatering potatoes. Garnish with coriander and crunchy peanuts and serve with some hot bottles. The young potatoes are dropped in a fiery red gravy made from tomatoes, onions, loads of red chili powder and dried spices. How to Make Bhungara Batata l Easy Bhungara Batata Recipe:
In a pan, heat some oil and add the ginger-garlic powder, tomato puree, minced onion, red chili powder, and other dry spices from the list. Make the gravy thicken and add the potatoes. Once the potatoes are thoroughly coated with the masala, turn off the heat and set them aside.
Fry them until golden brown and serve them with curry batata. Dip the curry sauce or scoop out onto a plate, enjoy as you like.
