BMG elevates Allegra Willis Knerr to EVP, Global Synch Licensing
BMG promoted Allegra Willis Knerr as Executive Vice President, Global Synchronous Licensing.
She will serve as the senior executive leading the management of BMG’s sync licensing teams around the world.
Willis Knerr will continue to report directly to Dominique Casimir, Chief Content Officer at BMG.
Based in Los Angeles, Willis Knerr was previously appointed head of BMG’s global sync licensing team as SVP, Global Synchronous Licensing, in early 2022.
She is responsible for overseeing and supporting BMG’s global synchronized licensing business, all licensing initiatives and policies, and driving and optimizing workflow and output. synchronized licensing group in BMG territories around the world.
Willis Knerr joined BMG after its acquisition of Bug Music in 2011, where she played film and television licensing roles. She was a key executive leading the sync licensing teams in North America to successfully grow BMG’s sync licensing business for over a decade.
Joining Bug Music in 2009, prior to BMG’s acquisition in 2011, Willis Knerr was appointed Director and Co-Director, Film & TV Licensing in 2013 and Senior Director, Film & Licensing Television in 2015.

In 2020, she was promoted to SVP, Synchronous Licensing responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and directing BMG’s synchronous licensing business in the US and Canada.
