Elora (Devery Jacobs) and Jackie (Elva Guerra) continues their cross-country road trip in the trailer for the critically-acclaimed second season of the comedy, which premieres August 3 on FX on Hulu.
While making a trip from Oklahoma to California, Elora and Jackie befriend a woman, due to Megan Mullallywho envy the freedom of young girls.
“Are you guys running away?” she asked in the intro. When Elora confirmed, she replied “Fuck, I’m jealous.”
The jealousy incident might be a bit misplaced, as Elora and Jackie’s road trip appears to involve a car incident and being chased by gun-wielding men in a pickup truck. Not exactly a trip down 66th Street.
Elsewhere, Bear (D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai) has a new job in the works, which is off to a poor start.
“I didn’t even know what I was doing,” Bear said in the trailer. “They don’t even teach you anything. They just expect you to know.”
Season two also promises the return of Paulina Alexis, Lane coefficient and Wes Studiplus guests from Jana Schmieding and Marc Maron.
