Via Ken Hissner: At the CAA Center, Brampton, Canada, on Saturday against DAZN (The Zone) Tyler Buxton and Don MacDonald (United Boxing Promotion) in the Main Event Canadian middleweight champion Sukhdeep “Chakria” Singh took down super the welder easily beat the Italian Xhuljo Vrenozi by more than ten rounds.
In the main event, Canadian middleweight champion Sukhdeep “Chakria” Singh, 13-0 (5), #152.6, from India and now out of Ajax, Ontario, CAN, easily beat Xhuljo “The Albanian” Storm” Vrenozi, 18-5 (3), #152.8, of Albania and Placenza, IT, more than ten rounds for the WBA International Championship still available.
In the first round, Singh mainly controlled the action with an effective jab. In the final seconds of switching to Southpaw, Singh rocked Vrenozi with a left on his chin.
In the second half, Singh continued to stalk Vrenozi with a good jab and sometimes a right to the good chin that Vrenozi showed. Thirty seconds left, Vrenozi landed firmly on Singh’s chin, left hand continuing to lower, leaving a hole for his right hand.
In the third round, Vrenozi was the aggressor, occasionally landing on Singh’s chin. At the end of the round, Singh landed the right to cause swelling in Vrenozi’s right eye.
In the fourth round, Singh made the chase, scoring well in his early relegations to middleweight. In the fifth inning, Singh continued to control the action. In the sixth lap, Singh injured Vrenozi with a one-minute punch with a punch to the chin, sending the latter running for the rest of the lap.
In the seventh inning, Singh appeared on the south side in the first minute before returning to the mainstream, with Vrenzi doing the same throughout, attempting to attack. In the 9th round, Vrenzi seemed exhausted when holding Singh.
During the tenth and final round, Vrenzi was in survival mode, moving around the ring without committing a crime. Singh tried to encourage him to stay still but to no avail from Vrenzi. In the end it was an easy victory for Singh. The referee was Donovan Boucher, who had an easy night.

In the opening match, Salar Gholami, 6-0 (3), #199.8, born in Tehran, Iran, living in Toronto, CAN, stopped former Canadian Cruiser Champion Sylvera “Sly” Louis, 8- 8(4), #198.8, in Montreal, CAN, at 2:29 of the third of eight scheduled rounds, for the vacant Cruiserweight championship.
In the second round, Gholami landed twice with half a dozen punches that didn’t return. In general, there are too many butts of both boxers.
In the first minute of the third round, a right from Gholami’s chin and knockdown of Louis made Louis count 8 points by referee Mark Simmons. At the last minute of the round, Gholami once again landed on the right with his chin, knocking out Louis as referee Simmons counted 8 points. Gholami jumped all over Louis and landed unrequited punches that forced referee Simmons to stop the match.
Olympic bronze medalist Ricardo “Big 12” Brown, 5-0 (5), #251, of Spain Town, Jamaica, stopped Mexican men’s champion Carlos “Papi” Carreon, 8-9 (2), #272.4, of Guadalajara, MEX, at 0:11 of the third of eight scheduled innings.
In the first inning, 6:07 ½, Brown won much of 5:05 Carreon’s chin while he was mostly in the corner. Carreon showed a lot of fighting back hearts.
In the second half, Brown hit too low that referee Mark Simmons had to give Carreon a break. That’s all Brown for the rest of the round.
In the third round, Brown lunged out, landing a powerful right-hand knock on Carreon’s chin, who fell face-first and out without being counted by referee Simmons.
Light Heavy Shakeel “The Jamaica Juggernaut” Phinn, 23-3-1 (16), #175, in Montreal, Quebec, CAN, stopped Josue “Chino” Castaneda Perez, 14-16-3 (5), #173, of Durango, MEX, at 0:53 of the seventh of eight scheduled innings.
In the first two innings, Perez played better than Phinn. In the third half, due to a head collision, Perez was slashed in the right eyebrow. In the final seconds of the round, Phinn pitted Perez against the ropes with a barrage of punches.
In the fourth and fifth innings, Phinn pitted Perez against the ropes for most of the round. In the seventh round, Phinn knocked Perez out with a punch to the chin because referee Donovan Boucher counted eight points. Phinn walked right behind Perez, throwing a landing punch when the towel was thrown in the corner by Perez, asking to stop.
In the co-main event, Middle Brandon “Bad Boy” Cook, 23-2 (16), #159.2, of Ajax, Ontario, CAN, stopped former WBO Euro Super Welter champion Stepan Horvath, 21-6 (11) , #159, Prague, Czech Republic, at 1:51 of the second of the eight scheduled innings after scoring a pair of kills.
In the second round, Cook beat Horvath with a punch to the chin because referee Floyd Porter counted 8 points at the beginning of the round. Halfway through, Horvath landed a punch on Cook’s chin and knee. Seconds later, a right from Cook’s chin knocked Horvath down again as umpire Porter counted 8. As he stood up, Horvath was asked to raise his hand but he stood there with his hand on his side, causing referee Porter to have to raise his hand. waved his hand.
Late Light Heavy sub Drake Olchowecki, 0-2 (0), #175, of Ontario, CAN, was stopped by southpaw Gregory Miller, 1-4 (1), #172.6, of Kingston, Jamaica, at 0:47 of the third of the four scheduled rounds.
For the first two innings, Olchowecki was unable to break the round with Miller backing away, delivering a jab that rarely landed. In the third round, Miller left with his chin, causing Olchowecki to rush straight in and almost go through the wire, causing referee Floyd Porter to give him 8 points. Miller jumped over Olchowecki, unleashing unrequited punches that forced referee Porter to stop the match for the 40-year-old Miller.
