In the Main Event WBC Interim Superweight Welterweight Champion Nampaw Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora, 20-0-1 (13), #153 ½, of Coachella, CA, defeats Continental Champion Carlos “” Chema” Ocampo, 34-2 (22), #153 ½, by Ensenada, Baja California, MEX, 12+ rounds.
In the first inning, Fundora controlled the first minute with the jab until Ocampo landed a left hook on the chin after a minute of it. In the second half, Fundora had the upper hand even though Ocampo kept moving forward. In the third round, Ocampo landed on the left and hooked Fundora’s chin to make the round.
In the fourth round, Ocampo opened with a combination of Fundora’s body. In the middle of the ring, the two threw punches to the delight of the fans. In the final forty seconds, Fundora had a chin combo with Ocampo returning a left hook to the chin.
In the fifth inning, near the final minute, Fundora rocked Ocampo with a left butt in the chin. At the bell, Fundora lands a combination to the chin. In the sixth inning, Ocampo continued working Fundora’s body while Fundora landed leaving the top of his chin. With just over a minute left in the half, Fundora rocked Ocampo with a left shot that hit the chin.
In the seventh inning, Fundora was better as Ocampo assisted him in the final seconds with a left by the chin. In the eighth round, keeping the fight in the middle of the Fundora ring allowed Ocampo to knock out his rabbit with mostly left hook punches to the chin. In the final seconds, Fundora had a coordinated phase to defeat Ocampo.
After the round, referee Jack Reiss went to the corner of Ocampo’s court to urge him to throw more punches that seemed very strange to him.
In the ninth inning, Fundora moved Ocampo into a neutral corner before Ocampo dealt with the detour handover from Fundora. In the tenth inning midway through, Fundora had a combo to the chin but was countered by Ocampo with a left hook to the chin. In the final seconds, Ocampo suddenly dropped his hands to his sides for Fundora to hit him and he did with one left on his chin to get the ring.
In the eleventh round, Fundora used her reach to keep Ocampo at a distance. With a minute left of the round, Fundora drained blood from Ocampo’s lower lip. The referee did not waver in this ball game.
In the twelfth and final round, Fundora’s shot took control of the round as both fighters hugged after the bell rang to end the round.

1st WBC Men’s Middleweight contender Carlos Adames, 22-1 (17), #159 ¼, of Santo Domingo, DR, stopped 6th Juan “Juanito” Macias Montiel, 23-6-2 (23) , #160, of Los Mochis, Sinaola, MEX, at 2:37 of the third round of the 12th round scheduled for the vacant WBC Interim title.
In the first round, it was all Adames with Montiel barely hitting a punch. In the second round, Adames once again easily won tickets to the next round with Montiel sometimes turning towards Southpaw without success. In the third round, Adames grounded Montiel with his feet more than a dozen unanswered punches that began with a right hook that nearly dropped Montiel before referee Ray Corona wisely stopped.
In the rematch IBF world flyweight champion Fernando “Pumita” Martinez, 15-0 (8), 114th place, against Bueno Aires, ARG, retained his title by defeating the winner. Olympic bronze medalist and former IBF world super flyweight champion, nampaw Jerwin “Pretty Boy” Ancajas, 33-3-2 (22), #114 ¾, of Panabo City, PH, over 12 innings.
The first two rounds were split with Ancajas attending the second round. In the third round, Martinez rocked Ancajas with a mid-half chin punch. In the forty-second fourth round, they exchanged punches in the chin with Martinez.
In the fifth round, Ancajas had the advantage while Martinez had a big sixth round. In the seventh round due to a head collision Ancajas suffered a cut on his forehead and missed the round. In the eighth and ninth rounds, Martinez counter-attacked the oncoming Ancajas sending him into the ropes at the end of the ninth round with a right punch to the chin.
In the tenth and eleventh rounds, Martinez had an advantage going up the board in the eleventh round due to a tangled leg. In the twelfth and final round, Martinez ended it as a championship he was getting better than the Ancajas.
